Our team started by helping Delena ideate through a series of product concepts. We created many solutions, and then used our critique process to narrow down to the design we felt most confident in moving forward with.

Our team started by helping Delena ideate through a series of product concepts. We created many solutions, and then used our critique process to narrow down to the design we felt most confident in moving forward with.

We then proceeded to create a 3D printed proof of concept model to test out features, size, and more. This design was created to fit within a standard binder to help with long term production costs.

Based on the evaluation of the Proof of Concept Model, we decided to change the shape of the cubbies to make more efficient use of the storage space per jewelry size. We also moved away from the binder design and created fully custom casing to better meet customer expectations. We captured these changes in CAD and produced photo-realistic renderings for the Client.

As we started getting closer to production, we continued to refine the aesthetics of the design using user surveys and group feedback.

We created infographics of refined design to help market the product, raise funding, and communicate with potential manufacturers.
We created Pre-Production Prototypes simulating the final design and helped get the Client into production. This manufacturing transfer includes final design documentation and critical dimension drawings for the manufacturer.
