Our team of engineers and industrial designers worked to create an unobtrusive design that would be weatherproof and manufacturable.

We coordinated with the groups designing the electronics and antennas and assisted with hardware selection, defining PCBA outlines, laying out major components, determining wire routing, and integrating all of it into a sealed housing design.

To verify the fit and functionality of the battery cassette and exterior housing, we created a prototype using 3D printed and milled models.

The final designs were sent to a manufacturer to be produced in large volumes. Drawings of the parts were created to ensure that critical dimensions and tolerances were called out, and we performed a fit check using the first run of parts to verify that all the tolerances were met.
